I saw this blog post from Meghan Smith and was inspired to create my own bucket list. Since my next birthday is a biggie, and I’ll be spending it far away from my family and current circle of friends, I thought this list would be fitting. I’ll probably edit this list throughout the year, since I can never “really” make up my mind.
I’m committed to making 2011 my BEST year, and here’s how:
- Learn (and dominate!) Italian
Take a cooking class in Italy(Evidence)- Take more pictures
- SCUBA
Try AirBnB(Did it on this trip)Go to Oktoberfest in Munich(Evidence)- Design an Italian website (www.jiastudio.it)
- Go to Spain (Evidence)
- Get the tattoo I’ve been wanting
Island hopSubmit a photo to PictoryOrganize a pub crawl somewhere in Europe, and preferably with a wacky theme(Evidence)Cliff dive! (Evidence)
Teach at least 5 people my language of abbrevs: particularly the words obvi and vom- Meet someone who says my name correctly… the first time! (Thank goodness for the French!)
- Visit Cinque Terre (Evidence)
Dominate the spinning pole- See Holland’s tulips
Visit Ireland(Evidence)Swim in the Mediterranean(Evidence)Visit the Dalmatian coast- Sleep overnight in a haunted house/castle/manor/etc. Any haunted place will do!
- Go to Paris on a romantic holiday (Evidence)
Face my fears and go spelunking(Evidence)Publish an article(Evidence)Eat healthier- Go on a multi-day biking trip
Drink a gallon of water a day- Drive on the opposite side of the road
- Live a life less ordinary
